Join Academy Award Nominee Jim Capobianco for
an intensive masterclass in Story Design.

Jim Capobianco received the 2008 Academy Award nomination for Best Original Screenplay for Ratatouille, and was influential on the stories of many of Pixar’s films including Toy Story 2, Finding Nemo, UP, and Inside Out. 

With over 30 years of experience developing stories for film and audiences of all ages, Jim will teach you the techniques and methods developed by the best animation studios in the world. 

Within this course Jim will layout his concepts on animation, film story development and design. From act structure, developing scenes through character and the process of evolution to an engaging animated or live-action film story.

This is a live workshop taking place virtually over two days (TBD). Expect approximately 4 hours each day, with a lunch break in the middle.

There is very limited numbers to each class to allow for more interaction and individual feedback and discussion.
